Hi all!
I'm very curious about this type of games. I've never played any arpg and I'm a little bit confused with how to start.
I was looking into it a while back but starting seemed complicated so I decided to do it some other day. You know how it is.
But the idea of developing your char by drawing it seems awesome so I want to try again. This time for real.
So, is anyone here playing it already? How did you start? I'm reading stuff on their page as I write this, but figured it wont hurt to ask.
How did you get your first character? Do I need to buy it or I can, for example, trade one for a commission?
Do you have some you would be willing to trade? What are the average prices?
And if you have some advice, like what guild to join, what to do in the beginning... It would be suuuper great and helpful. I'm absolute noob at this T__T

V Open for commissions

Both works for me. If you don’t see an option for that you have in mind shoot me a note and we’ll figure it out. This is because I've gotten much faster at doing a few things, so hope that's good for anyone out there who wanted something from me but didn't jive with the price so well. ^^

Heya, I feel like doing some portraits today. If you are interested in getting your character done send me a note with reference. For now I want to start with just two but maybe I’ll be open for doing more if there is interest and if I feel like it. :) Edit: Since Ze took over the second portrait I still have one spot left :)

Yeah the arpg world is complex and I've learned that my way as I started in WoR as a newbie to the whole arpg thing.
I started the harder way because I didnt know you can just adopt a vayron for free; I did drawing payments for the owners of my two chosen parents for a litter in order to get their permission to breed, and then I got the litter (which is genos which are kind of like rules for how can you design your reosean) and there are the official templates for download and the rules for designing markings if you have those in your geno and such. And also the import info is as a template as well and you just fill it; the help is written in the template. When I was done I went to their design approvals page and there's a form as well that you fill and then post it as a comment under a specific comment.
If I remember right there are semi customs for sale sometimes and yeah you can trade them or buy them from other members.
So basically if you're not picky, go here: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d… , there are genos for free. to request an adoption reply here: comments.deviantart.com/1/7133… .
then it's a matter of time when they transfer the ownership of the geno to you so you're the official owner.
I personally suggest you get in the circles so you actually get to do the rp stuff and well socialize lol. And the guild, yeah. Everything's better with friends. But the actual activities are listed in their page. Train, hunt, get stuff, craft stuff, use stuff. Like you can get items from quests with which you can customize your reosean.
I would be glad to create a some kind of partnership with you - I've not much friends there yet haha..
